Ooh, ooh, that is a good point I've oft wondered: What exactly are
people hoping for or expecting from a Geordie solo album? Hell, what is
your dream outcome for a Geordie solo project? I ask because I love
Geordie's work as much as anyone (well, okay, there are definitely
people here who get a little more aroused at the thought than I, but
let's not split hairs), but in general, guitarists' solo albums usually
don't do much for me. Something always feels lacking with guest
vocalists, or no vocals, or no influence from the musician's typical
friends. Throw in vocals from someone like Chris Connolly and then it
really sabotages it for me.

But it seems after every Joke release, people yearn for a Geordie solo
effort in the hopes that it will recapture his Fire Dances/Night
Time/_____ form. Great riffs can only go so far, though right? I listen
to a couple Damage Manual tracks every blue moon just to hear the
Geordie riffs, but the rest of the sound surrounding it keeps me from
doing that more often. How likely is that scenario to happen with a
Geordie solo project?

Wondering what people think and hope...
