Peter's a bit like Dr. Who, eh? Always a new and slightly different incarnation to look forward to. 

In all seriousness though, I think sometimes it's better when bands don't have any sort of longevity. At least they don't get a chance to lose their edge and spend more albums and more years being a shadow of their former selves than they did being good.

  Well that is absolutely no excuse for addressing yourself with a small "i" , the curriculum states that how one  should address themselves should be taught at primary school . In future address yourself with an capitalised "I" . 
  Anyway, Working class bands have no longevity , they come running out from their Council estates with all guns blazing , causing a commotion and gaining a following, but they quickly get out of their depth and run out of ideas..............they run out of ideas because they have no education , they cannot take the pressures that being famous brings  and they cannot function without guidance , they are then exploited by merciless Record Company executives and the end result is usually sellout or suicide .
  The working class should know there place , they should realise that driving the equipment in the trucks overnight is what they should adhere to, nothing more .
 As they great Joe Strummer once said *Know your place*.
Can anyone name a Working Class band with longevity?

 not sure if SLF really belong with all those other turkeys you mention? not my fave band by any means but def not comparable to those other retards
