A Œcontroversial¹ British comedian generally labelled as a racist for the
jokes he told although he always denied being so.
On the flip side, he regularly gave thousands to a variety of charities in
particular disabled, disadvantaged or terminally ill children.
In the latter part of his life he spent a great deal of time in his
underpants: ³a man needs to feel comfortable² he once told an interviewer.
Whether that sentiment ever extended to anyone sharing the same room is
debatable.
