Oliver: Can you just not give your own point of view? You are forever quoting people and posting links to what other people  think . And quite  frankly, i really cant be bothered opening up your links and reading them .  Everyone joins the army for different reasons and so its pointless trying to find one solitary reason as to why people join .
  I have been hearing on the radio adverts looking for people to join the territorial army , they mention that you could learn a trade and have comradeship and get yourself some adventure, then dont mention that you will get minimal training and be shipped off the fight in Iraq without all the necessary equipment , and you risk getting killed because your vehicles didn't have the necessary armour

Good piece on why folks go into the army, and the debate surrounding why 
so many lower level income folks are in it (though many conservatives
