The following is a link to a pamphlet called 'War Is A Racket" by Major
General Smedley Butler, at the time of this death the most decorated Marine
in U.S. History.

War Is A Racket is one of the first books describing the workings of the
military industrial complex (Wikipedia).

Right. , lets get this straight . Tinsoldier believes that America will only
give Cambodia cash if Cambodia makes the cultivation of Marijuana illegal ,
America wants drugs to be made illegal in Cambodia because this will
encourage corruption and this will give America an excuse to invade !!!!!!!

That is complete nonsense tinsoldier . For a start , if America wanted to
breed corruption and destabilise the country, they wouldnt give any aid and
they wouldnt press for drugs to be made illegal . America has no desire to
invade Cambodia , why would it ? Both China and Vietnam would get involved
if America moved in on Cambodia , theres nothing there anyway, why would
anyone want to invade Cambodia?

Cambodia still has a Socialist/Communist leadership , The Western
Capitalist nations are bailing out the failed communist nations , Cambodia
is living proof that Communism is unworkable . Look at Cambodia and look at
the corruption Communism breeds . Communism has breed a system which os
corupt to the core with Police killing each other .

The corrupt Cambodian government plays a big part in the drug trade. The laws
are unenforced, unless another dealer is encroaching on a government funded
dealers spot. And pretty much only corrupt cops looking for a bribe ever bust
anyone, and they let them go when they have what they want. There have been
instances of non-corrupt cops being shot, beaten to death etc. for trying to
expose this corruption. Is that what capitalism is trying to build?I'm gonna
hazard a guess, and say yes, because when it gets out of hand it gives the
imperialists and excuse to invade

Its quite sensible to get the Cambodians to outlaw weed in order to continue
to receive aid . The U.S spends a large amount of money per year trying to
stop the international drugs trade , it would be quite silly of them to fund
cannabis producing countries , whilst at the same time trying to stop them
doing what America is funding .

That can have aid, but they must comply with the rest of the World by
outlawing drugs
