I seem to remember Brandon sued for malicious falsehood over allegations in Mr O’Dowd’s (auto?)-biography that they’d had a torrid affair, but the case was either dropped or Brandon lost. I think the implication is clear, but I wonder why the Captain was so shy after the fact?

 

Can’t remember what music paper it was that first captioned a live Spear Of Destiny photo “Kirk Brandon, formerly of the mighty TOH and now of the silly SOD”, but it made me laugh.

Kirk could have just said that he made a genuine mistake , if George (in his Karma Chameleon days) had requested that any given person do him up the wrong en , then  most blokes wouldn't have declined the offer .

  *It was dark, I was drunk..................................* , Would have been an adequate excuse
