"Laws are mainly a reflection of what the group that's in power needs to do to stay in power."

Greg: This statement may be true for Countries such as China, Cuba , Zimbabwe and Saudi , to name a few , where there are no elections and the group in power holds onto to power by making Laws to quell and even outlaw the opposition party, but in democratic Western Countries , such as the USA , the ruling party doesnt make laws to keep themselves in power , because the only thing that will keep them in power is the people who vote for them.
You seem to be applying the protocol of other Countries to the way America conducts itself.

I see it this way (this is just an example): MLK broke several laws in the fight against segregation, which was legal in Southern US states. He an millions of others knew the laws were wrong and did what they had to do to show others that they were wrong, and to make them unenforcable.
Another example: Visit the torture museum in San Diego, California. It's full of horrible torture devices that were used against those who broke "laws" of the Catholic Church (not sure if they were government-enforced laws or just church-enforced) such as drinking and swearing in public and pre-marital sex.
Just because something is passed as a law doen't make it good or even necessary (although many laws are certainly good and necessary).
Laws are mainly a reflection of what the group that's in power needs to do to stay in power.

Yes Greg, but you must realise that in the bigger picture , in the general scheme of things , when you are dealing with protocol and the law in general , what sucks and what doesnt suck, doesn't really come into it .
We all live under the same laws , the law is our guidebook , Society isn't Governed by what Greg Slawson thinks sucks and what Greg Slawson thinks doesnt suck , now is it?

Fluwdot : Alex should indeed consider the job and he should also take it if its offered to him , himself and his family must come first , before his ideological beliefs .
I do find your stance somewhat disagreeable Fluwdot , you are suggesting to Alex that he should take the job and salary money from Fox news and then try to corrupt the company from the inside and then write a book and make $Millions in the process . You label Fox as being corrupt and evil, but I dont see the Fox execs looking to employ Alex , then bring him down and then write a book to make Millions as you are suggesting that he should do.
You are quick to label others as being corrupt and evil Fluwdot , but you are the one who is insinuating others to be corrupting and devious , you do this whilst labelling others as being corrupt and devious .
That is the height of hypocrisy
You may disagree with the Fox Corporation, but they are a legitimate company who abide by the laws of the Country and you have no right to attempt to bring them down through devious practices .
This proves that it is you Flewdot who is the corrupt and devious one and NOT Fox news .
You believe that Alex should feather his nest by making $millions and fuck the rest of the fox employees , by corrupting the company ?
