[kj] OT: Jungian dream analysis

Regarding fatpotanga's transferred eye pain: I have heard of that sort
of dream-reality happening a few times before (to my sister especially).
That is the height of weird. Now I really distrust pigeons.

My worst imagined waking from a dream, or at least the one that left the
longest impression, happened to me when I was 5. I dreamed I'd received
a new bicycle: It was blue, with white tires, and was the "hot" dirtbike
to get at the time. As I slept, the thing was sitting beside the house,
next to the driveway, just waiting for me to race off on it. Except
during the dream "I knew" I was dreaming. ... But then, in my dream, I
dreamed that I had indeed woken up, gone downstairs to check -- and
there it was! I took it for a ride (in the dream's version of me having
already woken from the dream to find my "dream came true"). So by the
time I actually woke up (if you're still following), I thought it was
Day 2 of owning the bike. Everything normal. The bike is there. So I
went downstairs to take it for a spin...and no no, it wasn't there.
Never had been.

That was when I learned a very powerful lesson: My dreams are run by the
government.
