          For once I agree with you, but I guess labels are a way of getting a concept across. It's more to do with the mechanism of communication than putting bands in a box.

                That raises the question of what exactly is post-punk, I had a vague idea but not so sure now. For example OMD and Simple Minds? I would have called OMD more pop, Simple Minds pop / rock. The lead singer out of Simple’s Minds’ voice always reminded me of Bono but I would prefer to listen to Simple Minds.

                This website is pretty good (although I would not consider Danielle Dax or Strawberry Switchblade post-punk). I found that out some months ago, when I added post-punk.com on myspace. The list of videos keeps growing :).
