A tragedy. Really respected the fella, even though he was nuts!
I love the way he abused his position at Granada to showcase bands he loved.

I believe he died of a heart attack, so would the drugs issue have made a difference? I don't know but it is shocking that we can spend millions a month killing people in a far off land, yet we cannot provide £3,500 to keep one person alive a little longer.

RIP Tony.

yourself alive ... I've never paid for private healthcare because I'm a 
socialist. Now I find you can get tummy tucks and cosmetic surgery on the 
NHS but not the drugs I need to stay alive. It is a scandal" (BBC report).
