The cover to KJ 2003 doesn't help when you're trying to turn folks onto
the band who have a visceral aversion to anything associated with
rap-metal or nu-metal because though you shouldn't judge a book by the
cover many of these folks do -- and it looks like KJ 2003's comin' at ya
straight from the "yo yo yo whattup juggallos???" side of bro-ham land.

Although I think I heard many people slag it, the Hosannas artwork is
great. Especially on the double vinyl LP, when you open it up -- it's
just absolutely gorgeous and really fits the album well, methinks. The
first s/t LP cover will always be my fave, though.

The Jaz/Adicts resemblance sucks because The Adicts are so damned
cartoony and, yes, people think droog or of the WAY played out Clockwork
Orange thing, and I know Jaz's initial angle with his paint was that it
was "war paint" (if I'm not mistaken?) which I liken more to later-day
black metal corpse paint -- but, yeah, my gf and a pretty respectable
music critic I have known at first thought Jaz was going for an Adicts
cartoon punk angle, which disappointed me. In some versions of his
recent war paint he also looks a lot like Alice Cooper, which isn't bad,
necessarily -- but Jaz is Jaz, man!
