[kj] OT: CULT @ Brixton Academy/Nomeansno

Since there's lots of talk about gigs attended
recently, just wanted to say that I saw Nomeansno last
night and they were incredible as always. Despite all
of them looking like granddads, they can still deliver
the goods and have a damn good time doing it as well.
The setlist was awesome, albeit a little strange. I'd
say about 75% of it was from Worldhood of the World
and up. Not a lot of really old stuff which is kind of
too bad cuz their old stuff is clearly their best but
still, it's nice not to have to sit through all the
standards and instead be treated to such gems as Lost,
Predators, Give Me The Push, as well as their newest
album of which they played TONS of. A fucking great
album too. The best one since the aforementioned
Worldhood of the World. But of course, a Nomeansno
show would not be complete without Big Dick, Rags n
Bones, Dark Ages and No Sex, which they also hit up.
Anyways! Fun times! Check em out, if you can. And
check out the new album All Roads Lead To Ausfhart.

Leigh
