Hi all, this is my first post here.

Hosannas doesn't have the best album art of a KJ release I've seen, but
it's better than the 2003 s/t cover, which had too much of an Insane
Clown Posse/juggalo/nu-metal look to it. Ugh. My favorite cover is
probably the "Laugh? I Nearly Bought one!" LP cover.

I do think Hosannas from the Basements of Hell is a great title,
however, and it's one of my personal favorite albums of this year, sure
it'll be on my year end Top 10. Love the band, and even when they make a
minor mistake like this, in the long run it pales in comparison to all
the genuinely great stuff they've done!

I agree about the cover art, but I think it is done in that sort of
tradition.

I would say that he has been influenced by Hieronomous Bosch and other
fantasy art from many different times. There is a huge amount of
surrealist influence; Max Ernst for instance. I find that sort of stuff
fascinating, but sort of revolting way too. It is as if there is
something under the surface that I can’t quite put my finger on, but I
want to know what’s going on and I feel that I might figure it out if I
look for long enough.

Dunno what the KJ connection is though.
