Myspace is awesome. I'm there all the time. It's a great way for me to stay in touch with friends of mine who don't live in the same city/province/country as me. Plus, it's a great place for bands to showcase their music. All the information plus up to 4 songs can be consolidated into one page, all for FREE! It's like an online EPK. Bands have actually gotten record deals through their myspace pages. 

Yes, of course it's cheesy and there is a seamy element to it. Oh well. Same goes for every damned thing on the internet. It is most certainly not to be taken seriously. I will say this though. It absolutely does look like shit. Horrible interface. On top of that, it is one of the slowest and most unreliable sites in the world. Not too good, seeing as it's also one of the most popular. Might wanna handle that shit, Fox.

Me too.  Because I wanted to subscribe to someone’s blog and had to have my own shitty page in order to do so.
 
The worst thing is that everyone has hundreds of friends.  Friends, my arse.  You’ll see I have only one friend.  He’s a real person I talk to, drink with and prod with a stick.  Am I going to start adding people I’ve never met?  I’m quite tempted by lycopodeia, actually - damn good tunes.  But it’s a slippery slope – I…must…resist…
