My impression at the time was that Raven tended to play on the rather one-dimensional view being expressed (about all sorts of things, not just 9/11 and the war). It looked to me that he had more going on between his ears than most...

But if he was serious - well, he was wrong, like loads of other people, but so what?  So long as he is not publicly supporting (say) the BNP, then I'm too fussed what his personal politics are. I don't agree with *all* of my friends about *everything* - so why should I expect to agree with the bass player of my favourite band?
