No, it was a long time before that with the release of 'Me or You',  
which preceded Night Time.

Having Kimsey produce Night Time was definitely with a view to giving  
the band a more accessible / commercial sound. The money was there to  
back them. They toured with their own lighting  / sound rig, even the  
road crew had a proper tour bus.
