[kj] London gig (set list included)

Dave - I think the last couple of nights have proved that Glasgow got a very
public kicking for a good reason - it was a shambles and it was also the
biggest show of the tour, where people that have probably been unable to get
into the last few sold out shows at the Garage would have been able to see
them.
It should have been so much better - might be our fault for expecting them
to be great all the time?
That's the price on the ticket when you're the best band in history.

Yeah, must say I loved this gig. I think Glasgow is getting a bit more
slagging than it really deserves, but this one was definitely more
together. Still think the Hosannas tracks don't come over nearly as well
live as they do on the record, but still wish they'd played a few more off
it. Hard to pick highlights... Pssyche as always, MINOG... ah fuck it, it's
ALL good! Really glad I made the additional effort (and expense) to make
this gig... had a great time, and have the bruises to prove it.

Aye, good to catch up wi Gatherers I hadn't met before (and ones I
had!)... I'd NEVER EVER heard Scottish/ginger hair jibes before! No,
NEVER! ;-) I had my hair colour changed by deed-poll at the age of 4 I'll
have you know.

Always good to have a Turbo-talk Neil! In fact, I have some goodies gonna
be on their way to you soon... their cover of Repo Man, plus another Gimme
Shelter for your collection (though that one may scare more than
entertain!).

Hmm, I could REALLY do with another Joke gig soon!
