Geordie uses a line 6 echo/delay thing that splits the signal by a fraction of a 
second and fattens it up.
Also the hollow body of the guitar, the P90 pick ups, the head and cabs that he 
chooses and then there is a nice recording trick of sticking lots of mics up. 
One in front of the cab, one at the back, one close up, one far away , one on 
the ceiling etc etc, then you blend those tracks. That way you get the layers of 
the same take and you are not overdubbing etc.

And you have to wear a baseball cap backwards when you play. THAT'S the secret!

You know it's hard to believe Geordie doesn't layer his guitars. How does he get 
that sound?
