[kj] Jaz owns the name

Not at all, though I like the idea of scrambled brains in a frying pan. I
thought this bit:

It wasn't just Jaz being interviewed.

..was a veritable punchline! Well, I peed my pants anyway :)

It wasn't just Jaz being interviewed. Youth was too. I guess my brains are
old and scrambled :(
The sugarcubes are involved in this somewhere too......who has the back
issues?!

Wish I could remember all this...where are all those old sounds and
NMEs when you need them...it was all over them at the time...I just remember
reading somewhere that they disbanded and left Youth with the name,
originally.....could be all tosh :/

Isn't the na me owning some of the cause of friction between BPF,
Youth and Jaz?
When Iceland happened, wasn't Youth left with a ridiculous debt?

Interesting point - KJ is very much a Morrissey/Marr, Page/Plant
affair -
Jaz/Geordie - I don't know how much external input is allowed,
though I
hazard a guess that Benny & Reza may have had a hand in bringing
an
Extremities quality back on several tracks. Maybe Raven too.

Not only does this change the way KJ writes, but also causes
friction.

Funny comparison - I was thinking earlier that with Pandemonium
onward,
there's been more Zeppelin in their sound.

Thanks for posting the cutting. I well remember all this, but
what I really
want to know is precisely how Jaz came to own the name.

Killing Joke was always srongest when all members were on a an
equal
footing. If only it was still that way. It isn't, which makes
the 'family'
and 'tribe' stuff a bit bollocks.

So does anyone know the mechanics of how he came to own the
name?
