Hopefully this evening. If I hadn't already heard the mp3s that made the rounds about a month back, I'd probably have made more of a concerted effort to soak in each and every sonic nanosecond of it the second it landed in my hot little hands. I'm cautiously approaching it now, hoping it -- once again -- blows the doors off those crappy leaked tracks and re-affirms my faith in the band. That said, even if the album is the veritable zenith of crystaline clarity, I remain largely unimpressed with the songwriting this time around.  And now amount of inventive production can camoflaugue the fact that Jaz has smoked massive, gaping tears in his voice box via his cigar fixation.
