*it is quite common for a musician to get into their stage moves in the 
studio. it really makes sense, as most musicians play better live than 
in the studio. one tries to evoke as much spirit as possible in order to 
offset the stale doldrums of weeks and months in this otherwise stifling 
environment for the creative muse. even our own gold harp king makes use 
of this technique, as one can see on the damage manual ep, it has video 
footage of geordie in the control room - playing his guitar to the 
tracks and making the same snakey undulations as he often does while 
performing on stage.
