[kj] SOAD Drummer

I believe FNM felt in retrospect that Geordie was very much into his own style, which was different from their own. FNM didn't turn him down; both parties felt the union wouldn't be best for them.

Jim Martin was tolerable at best, but neither as talented or interesting as Trey Spruance or Jon Hudson.

You could be right. A bit rich of FNM to claim that Geordie could only play in one style. I'd hardly call Jim Martin a virtuoso by ANY stretch of the imagination.

I always thought Geordie had a audition / or even joined FNM for a short while but they claimed he could only play in one style and wasn;t suitable - but I could be wrong - lnog time ago.

Geordie was briefly rumored to have been mulling over an invitation to join Faith No More when Jim Martin left.
