[kj] Kerrang!/Hosannas/KJ2003

They *are* amazing albums, but I was disappointed by both of them at 
the time, because they were clearly seeking a softer, more commercially 
acceptable sound - a path which led unerringly to Outside the Gate.  In 
the nineties, the more industrial sound became more commercially 
acceptable, and KJ have produced albums that, whilst having some fine 
moments, are far more mainstream than the first 3 or 4 albums were.

I think the quality of the music on Brighter and Night Time is 
outstanding, and I look forward to the remixed Brighter in particular...

  Well, both Nighttime and Brighter sound extremely
commercial (or they did when they were released) and
they're both amazing. I don't think it's pandering if
the music you're writing is still quality. Which, i
think, KJ2003 is. For the most part. BUt that's just
me.
