Sands was already in prison when he was elected!!!!!
  He was jailed in 1976 after being found guilty of terrorism charges and elected shortly before his death, whilst still in jail on hunger strike in 1981 .
 
This is the reality: Face it.
 
    "Shortly after the beginning of the strike, Frank Maguire, the Independent Republican MP for Fermanagh & South Tyrone died of a heart attack suddenly and precipitated a by-election.
The sudden vacancy in a seat with a small Roman Catholic majority was a valuable opportunity for Sands' supporters to unite the nationalist community behind their campaign. Pressure not to split the vote led other nationalist parties, notably the Social Democratic and Labour Party, to withdraw and Sands was nominated on an "Anti H-Block /Armagh Political Prisoner" ticket. After a highly polarised campaign, Sands narrowly won the seat on 9 April 1981, with 30,492 votes to 29,046 for the Ulster Unionist Party candidate Harry West, incidentally also becoming the youngest MP at the time.

(Oh BTW, you may also like to know there is a street in Tehran named after Bobby Sands, right alongside the British embassy :)

Look at it this way. Remember the IRA? Now what if Britain bombed Dublin because of the IRA killing a British soldier, would that make sense to you, because this is what Israel is doing!
 
The Lebanese Parliament can not stop the war, they have no power to fight Hezbollah because Israel has had an embargo on the Lebanese government getting weapons. The Lebanese army has small arms at best. Plus a lot of the Lebanese army are shiites too. SO Israel is asking for something that is impossible. They want a civil war. 
 
Anyway..enough from me, you obviously are extremely well informed and not a bit prejudiced.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, None. It's like
listening to a McDonalds order taker talk about nuclear physics.

I'd suggest spending a couple hours reading up on the short term and long 
term history of the region off a few unbiased sources, but you clearly have
your mind made up and are rooting for the "underdog" regardless of the
circumstances or underlying reasons for this current conflict. 

Lemme give you one clue. Hezbollah and/or the Lebanon Parliament could end
this conflict at any time by doing the right thing and surrendering those
hostages and securing their own borders. That they continue *daily* to put 
the entire country and population at risk because of *their own actions
which precipitated this attack* speaks volumes about who cares for their own
people.
