thanks george."

How can George Bush be blamed for this ?
If you want to apportion blame , then ask yourself who kidnapped the Israeli
soldiers and who could have stopped the repercussions any time they liked by
returning the soldiers ? George Bush wasn't keeping the soldiers hostage ,
so he could nt return them .
Hezbollah knew what would happen if they took Israeli soldiers hostage ,
Israel even warned Hezbollah to return the soldiers or face the consequences
of an all out , unrelenting Israeli assault.
Hezbollah are even putting children in front of its missile launchers to
try to stop the missile launchers getting hit . No one likes to see children
get killed , so why dont you point your fingers at Hezbollah for using
children as shields?
This was started by Hezbollah and can only be stopped by Hezbollah ,
something they refuse to do.
Hezbollah started this in order to improve their standing with other
terror groups in the Middle East , forming a Hammas/Hezbollah/Iranian/Syrian
front .
Hezbollah are Iranian affiliated and Iran has recently vowed to wipe
Israel off the map and Iran has also vowed to make nuclear arms . Israel
will not allow Iran to build nuclear weapons nor will it allow Hezbollah to
gain a foothold in Southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah started this and are therefore responsible for any deaths.
If you provoke a dog , dont complain when the dog bites you. Israel has a
right to defend its population and its borders .Israel doesnt deal with
terrorists and Israel doesnt leave is soldiers in foreign lands , kidnapping
one of its soldiers was foolish thing too do.

I agree with most of what you've said above. The current conflict isn't
happening in a vacuum, there's been a succession of events leading up to it
and anyone should know Israel isn't going to sit on their thumbs as the
rocket attacks and raids continue to escalate on the Israel/Lebanon border.

The only thing I think Israel has fucked up on was basically taking the bait
with the recent raid/kidnapping and playing into Hezbollah's hands by
retaliated with such a disproportionate and devastating attack on Lebanon.
As you can see, this current conflict is actually strengthening Hezbollah's
standing among the Lebanon community and weakening Israel's in the outside
world's opinion. Basically, Hezbollah is playing fast and loose with the
citizens of Lebanon in a bid to incite civil war and foment further hatred
against Israel. It's a risky strategy because it's possible the majority of
Lebanon's people may be smart and ballsy enough to reject Hezbollah itself
but honestly, at this point it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
