Or maybe Iceland was the best place to watch a nuclear apocalypse. Close
enough to watch the missiles fly over, far enough away not to be hit by
one and neutral enough not to be targeted!

Always intrigued me - just out of interest, why would Iceland be the
safest place to ensconce oneself in the event of an apocalypse, did they
research this fully or was it a case of 'that will do'? Is it a
relatively self sufficient land mass? - any Icelandic's on this list?
