Funny, the Pixies are from Boston (I remember meeting Kim Deal in a bar back in '86 or '87), and tonight the Editors are playing at a small bar in Boston. Don't think I'll go, though...)

While we are on the subject of new bands... I listened to the Futueheads CD quite a few months ago and it really didn't do anything for me. Then I saw them support the Pixies and thought they were really good live and since the CD has really warmed on me.

Just bought tickets for the Manchester gig. I agree definitely one of the new bands worth listening to. *Lots* of Joy Division in there don't you think ?
