precisely leigh, 2003 is bygone yet this doesn't sound any different. it 
sounds just like it's from kj 2003. kj albums generally sound completely 
different, that is their trademark if anything. at this point they may 
have stopped evolving and found there niche finally..what ever that 
might be called but it wouldn't be nu-metal, maybe poo-metal would 
suffice.   :-P
