[kj] Kerrang!/Hosannas/KJ2003

OK, so nu-metal wasn't the best quick reference term for a certain flavour
that was added to KJ2003, but I was trying to describe the extent of the
pandering to, let's say, a particular sector of the market - surely you know
what I mean.

I now see that I'm not alone in my opinion:

+++

Killing Joke frontman Jaz Coleman has revealed to Kerrang! that the
post-punk superheroes have returned to their roots on their forthcoming,
13th studio album.

Fans should expect a less commercial-sounding offering from 'Hosannas From
The Basements Of Hell', the follow up to 2003's 'Killing Joke', after
guitarist Geordie Walker registered his dissatisfaction with the band's last
album.

"Geordie wasn't happy with the last one we did because he thought it sounded
too commercial," Coleman admits. "This one's the antithesis."

+++

- and all the better for that, I reckon. And it goes to show that Geordie is
or should be the supreme arbiter of what goes.

There's fact for you Leigh.
