 It may have been  a nice song , but do you think  that the grisly act of murder should be sanitised and portrayed as an acceptable thing in the name of making art ? I dont think so.
    The video to the song  replicates the recent Suffolk murders, (Well the other way around actually: The recent Suffolk murders replicate the Cave/Kylie song) . Kylie is laying there all beautiful and serene whilst Cave goes about bashing her over the head , whilst ignoring the reality what would be her crushed skull and parts of her brain flying everywhere . It also ignores the suffering of Kylies family and also doesnt show Cave spending a long time in jail .
   Should artistes act responsibly when making music, knowing that their lyrics may influence people who listen to the music?
  I used to listen to Gangsta rap, but kept getting the urge to go and do a drive by shooting, so I now listen to Boney M ......................................but I now get the urge to do a Brown girl in the ring...........tr la la la laaaaa
