OK, since I see no point in entering a discussion with someone who insists on dictating the terms by which I must express myself, I will have to proceed in ignorance of your interesting and valid points. My shoulders, on the other hand, are broad enough to cope with “continual digs”, and I'm rather surprised yours aren’t too. I can certainly do mindless abuse, but rarely do so in a public forum. I respect your right not to respond, though.

I’ll overlook the remark about condescension, as I’m feeling more agreeable then I did when I posted my last message, but really, for you to take offence at somebody else being condescending is most amusing.

 

   I'm not offended . I merely request that you talk too me in a civil manner and not have continual digs at me . For example :"so I fail to see how a reasonable person" "I have tried, really I have, to see what you can possibly mean by this " "Do you read the Daily Mail, by any chance?""about the ignorance of your position" "I question whether we share a species ""And you surely aren’t so stupid ". 

    If I reply in kind then it will just ruin the discussion and descend into mindless abuse. So I will choose not to reply to your points , even though I had some interesting and valid points to make.
