Depends completely on what sort of record contract the band had or has with
whatever label the songs and show(s) were originally recorded for.

Likely in 90's - 2006 era KJ, they had a single or maybe 2 album contract
that basically covered whatever studio album(s) they recorded during their
tenure at said label. Typically, they are free to release "new" recordings
of the old music, demos and live shows from those respective album's
releases. For instance, they could likely release a double cd of demos and
out-takes paired with a live show from the KJ2003 album and tour on whatever
label that would handle the release (or do it themselves - HA!) without
dealing with the good folks at Zuma........ if that label is even solvent
anymore.
