How much of the original work was used in the final version? I thought most of it was scrapped and Jaz and Geordie redid the final versions of the songs.

OTG being Jaz's solo record is pure revisionism. Jaz and Paul were initially included in the recording sessions (and both were summarily discharged during the proceedings). It was going to be a full group effort. Jaz calling it a solo project after the fact was an attempt to save face, pure and simple.

In fairness i think it also has to be said that OMG, erm, OTG was never intended to be a Killing Joke album, but a Jaz album, so it should only be considered as such. I hope this sheds the proper light on that album for all its detractors.
