I dont really know much about the Social conditions in Pre WW2 Russia
or Pre 1970's China but I thought that the Russian population suffered
severe hardships during that time. Wasn't pre 1970's China the time of
the Cultural Revolution where Millions of people died and millions
were injured? (Not an exaggeration, literally Millions of people were
killed during the "great leap forward")
Also you mention Women's rights and the abolishment of drug use :
Western Nations are the leaders the field of Women's Rights. The
equality Women aspire to under Communist regimes are taken for granted
in the West .
Also Drug abuse : Whilst I do not advocate the taking of drugs, I
also do not agree with the state oppressing people in order to stop
them taking drugs. The Chinese way of stopping people taking drugs is
to execute sellers and imprison takers for ten years in Siberia . The
State should try to discourage the taking of drugs, but not violently
force people to stop.
The State should have relaxed drug laws . If people want to take
them, then its their choice. No Authority should have the power to
severely punish people for consuming drugs .
