There's the idea of Killing Joke continuing beyond the careers of Jaz, Geordie and co. Hasn't this been hinted at, where the mantle is taken up by others?

I ve always seen Killing Joke as being unique, out on a pedestal of their own .
I personally dont believe that Killing Joke should be labelled as "metal" or any other forms of "metal". They are just Killing joke.

Hi All

Just like to add my two bits to this topic!

I feel and hope that Killing joke, will remain with us. After all who would
replace them.
Todays bands are to controlled to address a lot of the serious issues going
on in the world.

I feel their music is as strong as ever. So their not doing what they done
in the 80's, Jaz vocals have become harsher
which I feel fits perfectly with todays metal scene. I'm currently working
with a young band called Sanguine http://sanguineband.com
who had never heard of Killing Joke until the last two albums, and they have
soaked them up, like their a new breed. At Sanguines shows
you see young metal heads, with KJ T'shirts. So why should they retire? As
long as they are gaining, new followers and still inspiring
the latest music genre then they should continue to lead.
