As much as it pains me to say so, their last album _New Whirl Odor_
(...yeah...) was a pretty tired retread.  They also did an album
produced by Paris, which was much more inspired and verged on
freshness.  Paris also wrote a lot of the lyrics, which tells you
something.  If you could produce and mostly write a new album by your
favorite band, in the best case it might inspire some good work from
you and bring something fresh to them.  That's approximately what
happened.  Chuck D seems mostly to have something to say these days
when he waxes nostalgic about the glory days of PE.  So it would be
fair of you to join along and play the old records at home.
