Got there a bit late to try and find a pub so went straight to the venue. Support band was Tribazik - the first support from the October tour and they were if anything even more dreadful than last year. That now 4 times I've been driven to a catatonic stupor by them. I really, really must try and miss them later in the tour.

Then, about 8:45 Faith Healer fired up, but given recent events we were still doubting that the band were there until they walked on stage. First thought was the new bass player is similar in stature, "look" and stance to Raven - just missing the tattoos!

The set list was as somebody else listed earlier. Highlight was probably Frenzy, but the 3 songs from the new album made a change. Personally, would rather Wardance was dropped than Sun Goes Down, but you can't have everything! The sound wasn't the best, but it was probably the best KJ gig I've been to since the Barfly - it was like they were really going for it rather than going through the motions.

The strobes were a bit overused - especially with the number of follically challenged men in there - far too many reflections!

It was good as well for so many people to make the effect and make me feel young and waif like :)

Saw Jane and Butcher from the message boards loitering around at various times, but didn't really get chance to chat!

Stayed around for a bit afterwards until the music got too recent and the average age of the clientelle dropped towards half my age ;)

If any of you were the couple who came into the Pizza place on the A610 just after us - sorry we didn't talk!

Next stop Manchester and Sheffield for dual birthday celebrations - birthday is on Saturday, but Wolverhampton is too far!!

Dave
