[kj] Ruminations..

Judas Goat, too, deserves a mention but I agree on the first two...once again t' Joke release one of the weaker tracks from the album as the first single!

I'm looking forward to hearing some of these new tracks live but my usual gripe still stands...not looking forward to hearing Wardance again! I'd love to hear the new stuff back to back with Extremities era.

At the risk of getting sincere for a second INLYGTM has helped me through hard times recently with this shitty job I'm doing at the moment. Though the good old "don't let the bastards grind you down" sentiment may be a little obvious territory it's refreshing to me that t'Joke are not afraid to tackle doing an anthem such as this.

Thanks for the props on For Beginners. The 'true essence' wasn't exactly what I was after (or I'd have put some of the singles on there), more like the other side of the story from the singles and well known tracks (hence tracks like My Love of This Land). INLYGTM would definitely have been on there had that been within the remit!

But I think tracks 4 - 7 -- Implosion, Majestic, Walk With Gods, Lightbringer -- do recapture the Joke essence, in a Revelations/Pandemonium/Extremities../WTf?/ kind of way.
