KJ2003 was definitely more friendly and immediately likeable. 
_Hosannas_ is unfriendly perhaps even to the point that it should not
be a record you "like", but rather has a power and an impact.  All the
various complaints I've read have at least an element of truth.  It is
not going to get the 5th star because even at its best _Hosannas_ is
probably one for the already-initiated, and it has significant flaws. 
But I still feel that any major disappointment is due to expectations
and taste rather than the merits of the record.

It would have been good comic relief somewhere in the middle of the album.
