Hi Gents,

Apologies for not responding to the thread(s)  -I had a newbie outtage since
early evening. This is the first message I've downloaded since 1830 hrs or
so. Looks like I'll have to browse the threads thoroughly on-line so as to
catch up :-(

I did see the Manchester story. Good one. He was using Burman amps back
then, FWIW. I saw them at Porchester Rooms Queensway (Mid Winter Party),
Kilburn National and Academy Brixton in this period, which was pre-
Extremeties, IIRC. I do remember Jaz saying "This is the last time we will
ever perform "Eighties" " tho!. So it must have been late '89 I guess!!!!!!

It is my strong recollection that KJ always had a far inferior sound for the
first half of the set at least, before the whole thing wouod finally come
together in glorious fashion :-) Yeah!!!!
