well he explained the  tuning , saying he was always the fastest to tune up
so everyone had to tune to him



see what you mean, but what made him go a tone down? it's standard now among 
a lot of the bands I listen to, and was presumably a technique used by 
people like Iommi? It seems an interesting choice for Geordie to make at a 
time when his sound was already nigh perfect (I'm thinking Revelations 
here).
