I think he just thinks a lot of himself! As if no one else can cope with
rock & orchestral. 4k sake. "I do this, I do that - the big I am".

I also listen to a lot of orchestral music. I studied music theory &
composition. I know how to put together a large-scale piece of music.
I wonder whether these things have are in any way related to my
support for Killing Joke.

Having been part of The Gathering for a number of years, I can see
some people are fans because they have an affinity for the type of
personality or musical character one or another of the band members
brings. My tastes and personality are perhaps more in line with the
direction Jaz pulls, and to a lesser degree Youth. Others possess
more of the sturdy, earthy nature of Raven, or the stoic intensity
Geordie brings to the proceedings.

Seeds of an OKCupid-style test are in there someplace:

1. Someone calls your girlfirend a skank. You:
A. Attack them violently.
B. Give them a verbal beat-down with wittier insults.
C. Put a curse on them to cause a rather painful but
non-life-threatening accident.
D. Don't let them harsh your mellow (where applicable), assume they
mean dancing to an uptempo reggae number.

2. Most appealing event to attend at a converted warehouse:
A. Dance party / rave.
B. Dog-fight.
C. Avant-garde music recital.
D. Exhibition of modern sculpture.
