Opinions please....

Thinking about going to see Ultraviolence on 8th Oct - haven't kept up
with any releases since 1998. The reason I'm contemplating going is
because of enthusiastic boyfriend who really likes the party-gabba
stuff but again, he hasn't heard any material since the nineties. Can
anyone comment as to whether or not the music is still
cheesy-gabba-esque? (kind of light weight gabba) or has it gone down the
noise stylee power electronics route. I don't like fragmented all over
the place stuff as I like to be able to follow a song structure if
possible. Given all of this, is it worth me going? Or in other words,
does Ultraviolence still play old stuff and is the new stuff much of a
departure from the old?
