Did anyone order a copy?
It's being released on Killing Joke records.
They originally put the price at US$117, the first 1000 copies were to be
signed and as a limited edition, so i would estimate that they were looking
to shift about 5000 copies of Gems of Power, which would have netted an
income of  US$ 585 000, take away the recording costs, the pressing costs
and postage costs, there would have been over half a million dollars profit
(V.A.T. could have easily been avoided)
Not bad for a nights work.
    I'm sure that if the message that Jaz wanted to say was so important,
then he would have made the recordings freely available on-line. Three KJ
lyrics come to mind:
 "Money is not out God"
  "Corruption at the highest level"
  "You re living a hoax"

They also said that delivery of the album will take six weeks.Why six weeks?
They will probably see how many orders they receive before printing and
processing the C.D's.
  How difficult and what is the longest length of time would  you have
previously thought that it could have taken two people to make and release a
spoken word album!!!!!!!Considering that Live Aid got all the worlds top
stars together , wrote and  recorded and released a single in the shops
with-in a week.Just be thank-ful that Gems of Power was nt for the starving
Africans, they would have been very very hungry by now
