Yeah, as excited as I was by this (which, as we all remember, surfaced during a particularly silent period of Joke inactivity), it really ended up being much ado about nothing. When I mentioned it to Big Paul last summer, he sort've shrugged and sneered simultaneously. It doesn't capture the band *at all* (if anything, they're simply going through the motions in front of a crowd who seem largely unmoved), and Killing Joke playing outside during the day simply doesn't make much sense. I mean, at the end of the day, I suppose I'm happy to have it, but it never fails to fall flat (i.e. it doesn't deserve the lavish packaging it comes sleeved in).

Top 5 Cringeworthy moments now...

1) the shittily out of tune bass in Labyrinth

2) the lazy, atonal vocals over Good Samaritan

3) copping out on the newest album title and the
newest album artwork

4) America, Stay One Jump Ahead, and just the whole
idea of the album Outside The Gate

5) No Way Out But Forward Go and how lacklustre and
unessential it all is. If you're gonna put out a live
album and video, try to pick a show where everyone
isn't just going through the motions to a bored crowd
in the middle of the DAY!!!!
