You made me do this Javier.I would just like to point out that I dont own
any Van Halen or Aerosmith records and do actually despise them.
I think we are talking about two different things.Im reffering to album
sales worldwide and you are refferring to when YOU actually listened to
them.If thats the case, then:I ve never bought any of their albums ,So they
ve never sold any.

So Aerosmith never broke??? I've always thought they splitted up for some
years in the 80's. Still, I think they turned bigger worldwide since the
second half of the eighties. At least in Latin America. The same with Van
Halen. Even when their first album may have sold more copies than any other
(which i really doubt, at least worlwide), i have the reference of the 1984
album as their first big explosion. C'mon! Jump sounded more than any other
VH song before. And as i see it, after the arrival of Sammy Haggar, VH
reached a wider audience.

We may see things different as the Latin American music scenario and market
is very different from yours in the UK and US. Maybe Brasil could be an
exception when i talk about Latin America's music market as they've been
selling a lot of records of very different kind of music for many years ago.
They had festivals like Rock in Rio and Monsters of Rock -am I right Diaz??-
when we in Mexico and most Latin-american countries could only achieve to
see Julio Iglesias live!!
