If someone posts anything of interest now on The Gathering's Message Board it will be buried within that rubbish so no real point in keeping the board going now IMHO ... these spammers don't appear to be going away ...

  just tried checking the message board but it's been hi-jacked!!!!
  It morphed into an incest site, without clicking any of the spam messages. This happened on both firefox and explorer with pop-ups blocked, cookies restricted blah blah blah
