Musically,Sham 69 may of belonged in the middle column,But as they were
around in 78/79 ,I put them in the last column.
 WIRE,To tell the truth I know nothing at all about WIRE.I only ever heard
one of their songs (Eardrum buzz on John Peel)And I was just going on
Graemes advice,So put them where you see fit.
    But as The Ramones were really a Hippy college  band ,And dont qualify
as "punk"They can stay where they are.

I recently saw a photo of the Ramones in skin-tight jeans............And Led
Zeppelin definitely had bigger nuts.
