Someone IS sitting on some prime live video. Channel 4 recorded the WHOLE of
the 1982 Brixton Ace gig and, judging from the four songs that were shown on
TV (on Whatever You Want), it is one of the very rare moments when
everything went right: brilliant performance, excellent band sound (unlike
these days), excellent broadcast sound, really well filmed. Personally I
would be prepared to pay a lot of money for a DVD of the whole gig.

If we could find the right person at Channel 4 to badger, would it be
worthwhile organising a campaign in which members of The Gathering bombard
him/her with e-mails begging for the release of this material?
