I seem to remember the sound at Brixton (Extremities tour) being pretty good
. .

I think for me it would have to be Manchest Apolo around 85 (?). It was just
one lound sort of buzzing noise. It wasnt until around 5 songs in before I
recognised one.

Best sound: Manchester International around 89

Brian.

The worst sound I have ever heard at a KJ gig was at Watford on the
Pandemonium tour . . Geordie was a blur of feedback (being on his side of
the stage was like having large knitting needles shoved into your ears)
which he made worse by going wild on a wah wah pedal . . .

'Ungrateful'... hmm... I should be so grateful that KJ
have finally got their act together to play a gig that
I should gloss over the fact it was bad?

And all those other KJ gigs I've seen where they HAVE
had a clean, crisp powerful sound... were they just
flukes? (One of the cleanest, crispest live sounds
I've ever experienced was Slayer.)

Of course the three old ladies enjoyed it more.
They're fucking deaf.
